On March 13, the Canandaigua VA Medical Center Celebrated Women’s History Month with the unveiling ceremony of a WWII Woman’s Uniform Display honoring local Veteran and guest of honor

 Helen M. Szumilas Vogt Powers.

"It is with great Respect and Appreciation that we Honor Helen M. Szumilas Vogt Powers for donating her service uniform. She represents all military women who gave so much in service to our country, and in her case, caring for the wounded as a nurse."
