Learn How to Reduce Stress and Improve the Health of Your Heart.

Helping Hearts, Healing Minds is a program being offered at the Canandaigua VA Medical Center and Rochester VA Outpatient Clinic to women Veterans in the greater Rochester area. This is a stress reduction program designed to improve heart health by managing emotional stress. 

Helping Hearts, Healing Minds will teach women how to alleviate or control their physical and emotional responses to daily stressors which can worsen pre-existing disease and problems in order to achieve personal balance and stability.

The program involves a 2 hour session once a week for eight weeks. Each session will include Hatha yoga, breathing exercise and sitting and walking meditations.
