CANANDAIGUA VA MEDICAL CENTER TO HOST
“VETERANS FAMILY DAY”
Veterans and Family Members are Invited
On June 11, the Canandaigua VA Medical Center will host a “Veterans Family Day” to welcome home returning Veterans and provide outreach to homeless Veterans. The event will be held in Courtyard #1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Veterans from all eras and their family members are invited to attend this free event!
Activities will include:
• Flag Retirement Ceremony (disposal/retirement of unserviceable U.S Flags) @ 10:00 a.m.
• Picnic Lunch
• Military Vehicles Display
• Puppet Show
• Antique Cars
• Mini Golf Course
• Child/Adult obstacle course
• DJ Music
• Face Painting
• Many More Family Events!
Representatives from the Veterans Service Center will be available to answer questions regarding VA Health Care Services and Eligibility. Flags in need of retirement may be brought in on the day of the ceremony or delivered to Voluntary Service (located in Building #7) prior to the event.
