On May 30, July 18 and September 19 the Brighton Police Department will be at ROPC to collect pharmaceutical waste for proper destruction.

On May 30th, July 18th, and September 19th the Brighton Police Department will be at the Rochester Outpatient Clinic located at 465 Westfall Rd., Brighton, NY 14620 to collect pharmaceutical waste for proper destruction.  An officer will be in the lobby from 9am to 10am to collect the following,

1)     Controlled substances
2)     Non-controlled, non-hazardous substances
3)     Over-the-counter medications and nutritional supplements
4)     Hazardous waste pharmaceuticals
5)     Inhalers.

Proper destruction of pharmaceuticals prevents contamination of waterways and can also reduce the risk of medication misuse.  Please feel free to bring in any unwanted medications you may have on hand for proper destruction.
