Community Living Center Parades

Photos of VA staff and CLC residents enjoying the Parades.

The Parades that were organized are just one of the many creative events that have been initiated by the CLC staff to help keep residents and loved ones engaged and help alleviate “Cabin Fever” for the residents.

Many residents have not physically seen their loved ones for over 3 months due to COVID - 19.   The Parades not only allowed the CLC residents to see their loved ones, but it was also the first time they had been outside since being quarantined. CLC residents wrote fond messages on signs they held up for their loved ones to see as they drove by. The Parades that were organized are just one of the many creative events that have been initiated by the CLC staff to help keep residents and loved ones engaged and help alleviate “Cabin Fever” for the residents.

VA Finger Lakes Healthcare System continues to be proud of the Community Living Center staff for the work they do to successfully keep residents COVID-19 free.
