“Bring the good news of faith and comfort to those entrusted to our Chaplain Service Spiritual Care”

Canandaigua VA Medical Center Eucharistic Ministers are trained, monitored, and supervised by Fr. James Jager . All have been approved through Volunteer Services and by the Archdiocese of Military Services.

Eucharistic Ministers assist with the distribution of Holy Communion at Mass and take Holy Communion to the hospitalized or homebound. These Eucharistic Ministers help in the outreach to those who seek pastoral listening and sacramental care when the chaplain priest cannot be present. They ensure that pastoral care is more efficient and available to those who desire their presence and prayer.
