DEER HIDE DONATIONS
The Canandaigua VA Medical Center is a designated collection site. Proceeds from the sale of deer hides are used to benefit Veterans.
Proceeds Used to Benefit Veterans. Each year, the New York State Elks Lodges collect Deer Hides. Proceeds from the sale of these hides are used to benefit Veterans. Sponsored by the VA Employee Association and VA Voluntary Service, the Canandaigua VA Medical Center is a designated collection site. Deer hides should be in brown paper bags and brought to the blue bin (marked- Deer Hides) at the garage area located in Building #16. For each donation, Voluntary Service will issue a charitable certificate in the amount of $35.00. Contact Voluntary Service at (585) 393-7761 if you have any questions concerning this program.
