The Canandaigua VA Medical Center Recreation Department is looking for Veterans willing to foster a service dog as part of the new Canine Training Program.

The program will consist of VA outpatients volunteering to foster (have live with them) a dog and attend canine training sessions. This requires each volunteer to:

• Have reliable transportation.
• Commit to foster a dog for one year.
• Attend training sessions weekly.
• Complete the homework from the training sessions.

If you are a Veteran receiving outpatient care at the Canandaigua VA Medical Center or Rochester VA Outpatient Clinic and are interested in more information about this program, please contact
